Authorities are continuing their search Sunday for an incarcerated man who removed his GPS device and walked away from a Male Community Reentry Program in Los Angeles.

Officials were alerted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday that Dijon Barber, 32, had removed his tracking device, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials said.

He was described as 6 feet tall, about 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black-and-brown hoodie, black sweats and black sandals.

Barber was sentenced to four years for first-degree robbery, theft/embezzlement from elder/dependent adult and grand theft of a person.

Anyone who sees Barber or has information on his whereabouts was asked to call 911, or Special Agent Rene Ramos at 909-322-8197.
