A 35-year-old man and a 6-month-old baby who were killed following a collision in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles were identified Tuesday.
Dennis Hernandez, 35, and the baby, Josiah Lozano, were identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office as the victims of the crash. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters were called at 11:33 p.m. April 8 to 4628 S. Western Ave, east of West 47th Street where they found the victims, said LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
A 30-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were also taken to a trauma center in serious condition, Lantz said.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
