Authorities Friday asked for the public’s help in locating an at-risk 84-year-old man with dementia who was reported missing in Rosemead.

Lam Khin Mooc was last seen about 5:50 a.m. Friday in the 3100 block of Walnut Grove Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Mooc was described as a 5-foot-5-inch tall Asian weighing 150 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a red hat, red and white plaid shirt, red pants and blue slippers.

Sheriff’s officials said that Mooc’s family is growing intensely concerned about his well-being due to his medical condition.
