Authorities Monday released the name of a worker found dead at the Burbank Water Reclamation Plant.
The employee, identified as 52-year-old Bradley Davis of Valencia, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Burbank police and fire officials responded to the facility in the 700 block of North Lake Street around 12:45 p.m. Thursday on reports of an unconscious employee, according to the Burbank Police Department.
The cause of death has been deferred according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
Police said that due to the nature of the facility where the death occurred, the plant was evacuated so a hazardous material team could conduct an investigation to “ensure there are no materials that could pose a threat to other employees or the public.’
