A man was taken arrested Friday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after a fiery crash in Westchester.
Fox 11 reported the man was arrested around 1:15 a.m. Friday after he crashed his car in to the back of the bookstore ”The Book Jewel” located at 6259 W 87th St. and La Tijera Boulevard.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the scene, where they found a dark-colored sedan engulfed in flames in the parking lot, Fox 11 reported.
Police said speed was a factor in the crash, according to Fox 11.
The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the scene to extinguish the flames.
