Officers found evidence of a shooting but no victims Friday when they investigated a report of shots fired.
The shooting was reported at about 4:50 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Daisy Avenue, west of the LA River, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
No injuries were reported but officers located evidence that a shooting had occurred, police said.
Suspect information was not available.
