A 79-year-old woman who was last seen in Porter Ranch has been found, authorities announced Monday, prompting the cancellation of a Silver Alert.
Peggy Amenta was last seen about 8 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Tampa Avenue and Rinaldi Street, near the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
She has since been located, but no details were provided about when or where she was found.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
