A female employee holed up inside an office at a middle school in Baldwin Park Thursday, prompting a partial evacuation of the campus.
Officers were dispatched about 9:45 a.m. to Olive Middle School, 13701 Olive St., regarding a disturbance involving a school employee, according to a Baldwin Park Police Department dispatcher.
At least part of the school was evacuated as a precaution as officers spoke to the employee. At one point during the conversation, the employee closed an office door in the main building at the school and barricaded herself inside the room, according to the dispatcher.
A watch commander with the Baldwin Park Police Department could not be reached for comment.
No injuries were reported and there was no other immediate information.
