No bystanders or officers were injured during a shooting Saturday involving police in south Los Angeles, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at about 9 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of East 118th Drive, just went of Central Avenue and south of the Century (105) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.

“No outstanding suspects or threats to the community,” police said in a social media post at 12:07 p.m.

At least one person was taken to a hospital, according to a source at the scene, but police did not immediately release any further information.
