A Silver Alert was activated Tuesday following reports of a missing 78-year-old woman diagnosed with dementia and diabetes last seen near the Echo Park area of Los Angeles.
Elidia Espinoza was last seen Monday in the 1500 block of Lake Shore Avenue at approximately 8 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Espinoza was described as a 5-foot-4-inch tall Hispanic woman weighing 165 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green jacket, a blue shirt, beige shorts and black shoes.
Police said Espinoza’s family is increasingly concerned for her well-being due to her medical conditions and is asking for the public’s help in locating her.
