A second victim who died when the sedan he and another man were traveling in crashed into a parked semi-truck in Sun Valley was identified by county authorities Wednesday.

Angel Solorzano Jimenez, 25, was the second victim who died in the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. Aris Sanchez Fonseca, 51, was earlier identified as the first victim.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 12:31 a.m. Thursday to the 13300 block of Roscoe Boulevard, near the Tujunga Wash, where they found the sedan had slammed into the semi-truck, trapping the victims inside the sedan, an LAPD spokesman told City New Service.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were called to the scene, where they pronounced the victims dead.
