A man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot Thursday in Long Beach.
Officers were dispatched to a hospital about 1 a.m. Thursday regarding a man who had walked into the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The victim had been in the 100 block of West Bort Street, west of Long Beach Boulevard, when the shooting occurred. He was unable to provide details of the incident.
Officers located evidence indicating a shooting had occurred.
Suspect information and a possible motive for the shooting were under investigation.
