A 78-year-old woman diagnosed with dementia and diabetes who had been last seen near the Echo Park has been found, authorities announced Thursday.
Elidia Espinoza was last seen around 8 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Lake Shore Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
She has since been located, but there were no details provided about when or where she was found.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
