A man was shot in Indio and authorities Friday were searching for the gunman.
The shooting happened around 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the area of Monroe Street and Avenue 52, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
There was no suspect information or possible motive immediately available.
