Orange County sheriff’s officials Friday released the name of the suspect accused of a violent attack in a Yorba Linda park on Sunday.

The suspect was identified as 52-year-old Saead Ettefagh of Wildomar. Ettefagh sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the attack, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting about 2:40 p.m. Sunday in the Canyon RV Park at Featherly Regional Park, on East Santa Ana Canyon Road, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect and his two victims were hospitalized following the attack, deputies said.

Officials believe all the individuals involved knew each other and that a dispute from a day prior led to the shooting, deputies said.

The suspect drove to the park and attempted to hit the victims with his vehicle, injuring one. He then exited the car and began shooting at the men before turning the gun towards himself, according to the department.

The victim hit by the vehicle was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
