An apartment in a two-story Van Nuys building caught fire Saturday.
The fire was reported at 6:11 p.m. Saturday at 14612 W. Wyandotte St. in a first-floor unit of the garden-style building, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said.
There was moderate smoke inside the unit when firefighters arrived, Lantz said.
The flames were out within 12 minutes and only contents of the unit were damaged, she said.
No injuries were reported.
