Police and relatives were searching Saturday for a 59-year-old woman missing from Los Angeles.
Maria Vanessa Ordenana Lopez was last seen sometime Saturday morning near the 600 block of 98th Street west of Figueroa Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. A neighbor told relatives she was walking toward Figueroa.
Her family is concerned because Lopez has diabetes, memory problems and does not know how to get home.
Lopez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, with auburn hair and black eyes, last seen wearing a red jacket, gray pants, blue shoes and carrying an empty plastic shopping bag.
