Detectives Monday were investigating the stabbing death of a woman in the Florence area of Los Angeles.
The stabbing was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday inside 338 E. 82nd St., near San Pedro Street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The woman, believed about 20 years old, was found with stab wounds in her abdomen, he said.
Paramedics took the woman to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, the officer said.
Suspect information was not available, he said.
