Authorities sought the public’s help Wednesday in identifying a person of interest in a shooting in Paramount that critically wounded two women and two children.
Detectives from the Lakewood sheriff’s station were dispatched to the 7000 block of Sommerset Boulevard at around 9 p.m. Saturday to reports regarding shots fired, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Two women, 22 and 44 years old, were taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition, along with a 10-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl, authorities said.
Sheriff’s officials said Wednesday that the 22-year-old woman has since been released from the hospital.
A vehicle was seen fleeing the location following the shooting, but no description of the vehicle or a suspect was available.
