At least one officer from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Station shot at a suspect in North Hollywood Friday.
The shooting occurred at 12:54 p.m. Friday in the 7800 block of Beck Avenue, at Stagg Street, LAPD Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.
The officer or officers were responding to a call of a stabbing, Cervantes said.
No officers were injured, police said.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting and the condition of the suspect were not immediately available.
The suspect’s description and condition were not yet known.
