A pedestrian was killed Thursday evening in a collision with a vehicle in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 9:45 p.m. to West 228th Street and Normandie Avenue where they located the pedestrian, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The pedestrian- whose name, age or gender were not immediately known- was pronounced dead at the scene.
