Six motorists were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The checkpoint was held from 6 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday at Ocean Boulevard and Chestnut Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police said 1,540 vehicles passed through the checkpoint and 398 drivers/vehicles were screened.
