Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting in Long Beach Saturday morning where officers located evidence that a shooting had occurred and no injuries were reported, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched about 1:10 a.m. to a reported shooting in the 500 block of West Esther Street, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Upon arrival, officers located evidence, indicating a shooting had occurred,” according to a police statement. “Suspect information and the motive for the shooting is under investigation. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.”
