Metro crews disembarked about 60 people Sunday after a train stalled mid-tracks.
The power outage happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday roughly 300 feet from the Santa Monica Boulevard Red Line Station platform, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No passengers were reported injured.
Shuttles were requested to assist the movement of passengers farther, Metro officials stated.
North Hollywood-bound trains from the Wilshire/Vermont stations were temporarily routed back around.
Trains from North Hollywood were running only to the Hollywood/Western and Vermont/Santa Monica stations.
