A suspect was in custody Sunday after allegedly leading police on a vehicle pursuit that ended near a bar in Lake Balboa, where he was arrested on suspicion of felony evading.
The chase began at 9:53 p.m. Saturday at Saticoy Street and Lake Louise Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, which added that it was possibly initiated by an “observation by officers.”
The pursuit ended at about 10:30 p.m. in the 17300 block of Saticoy Street, where the suspect was arrested on suspicion of felony evading.
Officers were unable to locate a suspected firearm.
“They canvassed the area, but couldn’t find it,” a police spokesman said.
