Authorities sought the public’s help Monday in locating an at-risk 35-year-old woman diagnosed with mental health issues who went missing in South El Monte.

Darrenesha Long was last seen around 5:45 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Havenpark Avenue and Remer Street, a little north of the Pomona (60) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Long was described as 5-feet-3 inches tall and 180 pounds. She is Black and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top and blue sweatpants.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call the LASD Missing Person Detail at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call 800-222-8477 or go to lacrimestoppers.org.
