Police Wednesday are investigating a shooting in Long Beach that left a man dead.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called at 11 p.m. Tuesday to the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Locust Avenue regarding a shots fired call. When they arrived at the scene, the officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body, according to reports from the scene.
Long Beach Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, KTLA reported.
KTLA reported three to four people were seen running way from the scene after the shooting.
