A man was shot to death Thursday in Long Beach.
The shooting was reported about 5:15 a.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Harding Street, near Cherry Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The man was shot outside his home, NBC4 reported.
“Upon arrival, officers contacted a male adult victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body,” according to a police statement. “Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and determined the victim deceased.”
A description of the man was not immediately available and there was no suspect information provided.
Homicide detectives were responding to investigate.
