It took firefighters 18 minutes Saturday to put out flames in a garage in the Florence area of Los Angeles that had two accessory dwelling units attached.
The fire was reported at 3:06 p.m. at 145 E. 78th St., said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
The garage was well involved in flames when firefighters arrived, Stewart said. Firefighters kept it from spreading to the main house.
The fire extended into the attic of the garage before it was put out, she said.
No injuries were reported.
