A 38-year-old woman who was fatally injured when she was struck by a vehicle that left the scene in South Los Angeles was identified Monday, and the driver that was responsible is still being sought.
Ashley Hall of Los Angeles was struck at about 9:20 p.m. May 17 near the intersection of Figueroa and 115th Streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The vehicle that hit her was going north on Figueroa and the driver did not stop as required, police said.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced Hall dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about the fatal collision was urged to call the LAPD’s South Traffic Division at 323-421-2500 and ask for Officer Noland.
