A motorcycle rider was killed early Wednesday after crashing into a parked vehicle in Long Beach.
The crash was reported at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday at Conant Street and Clark Avenue near Rosie the Riveter Park, according to a report from the scene.
Firefighters pronounced the biker, identified by the Los Angeles Office of Medical Examiner as 40-year-old Douglas Dague Jr., dead at the scene.
Video from the location showed the crumpled motorcycle against the damaged rear of a white car.
Police closed the streets leading to the crash scene.
