Investigators Thursday released an image of a 76-year-old woman who went missing in Lancaster and may be headed to San Diego.
Mary Elsie Spears, was last seen about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 44000 block of Fig Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Her family members are concerned about Spears’ safety because of her mental health issues, which place her at risk. They are pleading for her safe return.
Spears was described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown eyes and black and gray hair.
She was wearing an orange and black dress when last seen and has a possible destination of San Diego, according to the sheriff’s department.
