Detectives Tuesday sought help from anyone with information about the fatal stabbing of man in Van Nuys.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division responded at 11:13 p.m. Monday to a report of an assault taking place in the 16700 block of Stagg Street and found the 40-year-old victim in a nearby drainage wash.
He had multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, according to the LAPD.
His name was being withheld pending next-of-kin notifications.
No suspect information was immediately available, but anyone with information about the death was urged to call the detective investigating the case at 818-374-9550.
