A man was wounded in a shooting in North Long Beach and police Thursday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Officers from the Long Beach Police Department were called at approximately 2:45 a.m. Wednesday to a local hospital, where the victim told them he took himself to the hospital and was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body.
According to the officers, the victim was not cooperative with details about the shooting. An investigation revealed the man was in the area of Long Beach Boulevard and Victoria Street when the shooting took place.
