A fire burning in a four-story residential structure was knocked down in Van Nuys Sunday.
Around 5:35 p.m. Sunday, crews responded to the 6700 block of North Sylmar Avenue, east of the San Diego (405) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Flames were initially reported showing from the first floor balcony of the three-story apartment over a parking structure, before being knocked down in 12 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The cause was under investigation.
