The second of two victims killed in a shooting in the Central-Alameda neighborhood of South Los Angeles was identified Wednesday.
The Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner identified Travon Pratt, 48, as the second victim of the shooting.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division responded to the intersection of Central Avenue and 50th Street at approximately 11 p.m. Monday regarding a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, the officers learned two suspects drove up to the victims and shot at them multiple times, an LAPD officer told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called and pronounced a woman, who the medical examiner identified on Tuesday as 49-year-old Taniya Delouth, dead at the scene. Pratt was taken to a hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, police said.
The suspects drove away west on 50th Street, according to police, who did not have a suspect description.
