Two juveniles were arrested for allegedly striking California Highway Patrol officers with rocks during a demonstration of the Trump Administration’s immigration police in downtown Los Angeles, ABC7 reported Saturday.

During a protest on June 8, the juveniles allegedly threw rocks from a freeway overpass during a protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions in Los Angeles while CHP officers attempted to clear the Hollywood (101) Freeway, a video from the CHP shows, according to ABC7.

The video shows a rock striking an officer in the head, knocking aside his helmet and gas mask.

The suspects were arrested on Thursday — one was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a peace officer, and the other juvenile was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, ABC7 reported

“To those who choose to exploit public demonstrations to incite violence, attack officers, or create chaos — know this: we are coming for you. Your actions will not go unanswered,” said CHP Southern Division Chief Chris Margaris.
