A man suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound during a fight with a suspect in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
Officers dispatched at about 9 p.m. Saturday to the 1200 block of Del Rey Court regarding a stabbing located the victim, who was suffering from a stab wound to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital.
Police said he had been involved in an argument with another man, which escalated into a stabbing. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Suspect information and the motive for the attack were under investigation.
