The Orange County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s help Wednesday in locating the suspected hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a 66-year-old homeless man in Stanton.
Deputies responded near Katella Avenue and Date Street at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian, authorities said
The pedestrian, later identified as Jeffery DeLaRosa, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was described as a white 2007-2015 Nissan Rogue compact crossover SUV with front-end damage, authorities said
The driver was last seen heading eastbound on Katella Avenue toward Beach Boulevard, authorities said.
