The driver of a truck was hospitalized Tuesday after crashing into a traffic signal pole in Pacoima.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday to Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Fox Street, where they found the truck had slammed into the pole sheared the light off its base, according to video from the scene.
Firefighters freed the driver, who was taken to a hospital.
The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the cause of the collision, an LAPD officer told City News Service.
