Fire crews Friday knocked down flames engulfing a row of detached garages and two automobiles in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported around 9 p.m. Friday in the 8100 block of De Garmo Avenue, by the Golden State (5) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Close to three dozen firefighters achieved knockdown in 20 minutes.
Authorities say the fire was possibly related to fireworks.
