Several stores were looted Monday following a street takeover in the Jefferson Park section of Los Angeles.
Officers responded to a burglary report about 3:25 a.m. at a shopping plaza at Western Avenue and Adams Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The burglary involved dozens of people and more than one shop was looted, a store owner told KTLA.
The looters struck a 99 cent store, a beauty supply store, a pizzeria and a salon, the shop keeper said.
