A 31-year-old man whose body was found wrapped in a blanket near a Goodwill drop-off bin in Pasadena was identified Wednesday.
Officers responded to the 300 block of South Fair Oaks Avenue, near Del Mar Boulevard, to reports of an unresponsive man Tuesday morning who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Pasadena city spokeswoman Lisa Derderian.
Pasadena Police Department detectives remained at the scene Tuesday afternoon to investigate “suspicious activity” leading to the discovery.
The victim was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Shaves Adams, with the cause of death listed as deferred.
His body was found by a Goodwill employee and showed no obvious signs of injury, according to broadcast reports.
