An at-risk 74-year-old man was reported missing after last being seen Thursday in Westminster, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Benjamin Johnson was last seen near Hoover Street and Brooklawn Drive at approximately 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol which activated the alert on behalf of the Westminster Police Department.
Johnson was described as a 5-foot-10-inch-tall man weighing 175 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a brown cap.
Anyone with information regarding Johnson’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
