Three people were displaced after firefighters knocked down a garage fire Friday in Riverside.
The non-injury blaze was reported at 9:48 a.m. Friday in the 8200 block of Greenpoint Avenue, according to the Riverside Fire Department
Battalion Chief Scott Richmond said three engine crews, numbering 18 personnel, were sent to the location and encountered a garage on fire, and they initiated salvage operation on the interior and vertical ventilation on the roof.
Crews extinguished the fire two hours later and remained at the scene for an additional two hours for overhaul.
An investigator at the scene revealed the fire originated from an electrical issue.
