Three teenaged boys were wounded in a shooting in Northridge Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to the 8600 block of Wilbur Avenue, just south of Parthenia Street, at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to reports regarding shots fired, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victims were two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy, LAPD Officer Tony Im told City News Service. They were taken to a hospital in stable condition by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
Earlier Wednesday night, police described one victim as a 25-year-old man and a second victim as a 20-year-old man. There was also a third victim who police had little information about.
Im said witnesses told police a suspect approached the victims and shot at them several times before fleeing in an unknown direction.
It was unclear what motivated the shooting, and there was no description of a suspect.
