A developmentally disabled 16-year-old boy went missing Thursday in Long Beach, and police asked for the public’s help locating him.

Alexander Martinez was last seen walking near Aquarium Way and Bay Street around 1 p.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Alexander was described as a 5-foot-6-inch-tall Hispanic boy weighing 130 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Police said the teen is non-verbal and unable to care for himself due to his disability. He also does not have a cell phone or other electronic devices to track his location.
