A mountain bicyclist was flown to a hospital Saturday after suffering a serious injury on a remote section of road in Brentwood, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at about 11:25 a.m. Saturday to West Mandeville Fire Road, south of Mulholland Drive, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
A rescue helicopter was lowered to join ground crews in medically assessing and stabilizing the man, who was then hoisted aboard the hovering helicopter with a flight paramedic on board.
No further information about the man’s injury was immediately available.
