A man was stabbed in Long Beach Sunday morning, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at about 5:15 a.m. Sunday to a hospital outside the city for a man who suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was somewhere near Second Street when he was stabbed,” according to a police statement. “The circumstances and exact location of the stabbing, as well as motive and suspect information, are currently under investigation.”
