A man was fatally shot near South Central Los Angeles and an investigation of the shooting was underway Monday.
Los Angeles Police Department officers from the department’s Newton Division responded to 3703 Crawford St., south of 36th Street, at 11:45 pm. Sunday regarding a shots fired call. When they arrived, officers found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
There was no suspect description.
